SUMMARY:Annie - United Way Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Come out to see this classic movie to help a GREAT cause! 100% of your ticket price benefits United Way! Proceeds from any food or beverage purchase are also donated back to United Way!\n\n\n\nLeapin' lizards! Nothing against my parents\, but after the first time I saw ANNIE as a child\, I wanted to be an orphan so badly. I yearned to spend my days performing cleaning dances while singing "It's a Hard Knock Life\," and I couldn't wait for Daddy Warbucks (Albert Finney) to whisk me away to his huge mansion. (In fact\, I'm still hoping this might happen\, although cleaning isn't nearly as fun as orphans make it look.)\n\n\n\nANNIE continues to shine like the top of the Chrysler building as a musical classic\, and we're giving a whole new generation the chance to fall in love with that spunky redhead (played by the irresistible Aileen Quinn) and her trusty dog\, Sandy. From the deliciously awful Miss Hannigan (Carol Burnett) to the taciturn and towering Punjab (Geoffrey Holder)\, this film is studded with stellar performances and show-stopping numbers.\n\n\n\nYou can bet your bottom dollar that you and your kids will leave the theater with a huge smile on your face and "Tomorrow" stuck in your head. We love you\, Miss Hannigan!\n\n\n\nThis screening is presented by UNITED WAY OF NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY + Sponsored by TREX. Come out for a great time to help a great cause!
