The event will be held at the Performing Arts Luray Center. \n\n\n\nSpecial Announcements from Doris Crouse-Mays\, President of Virginia AFL-CIO. \n\n\n\nSpeakers include: Michael Hamlar (candidate for the VA State Senate in 2015\, Mike has established the Step-Up Virginia PAC to advocate for education workforce readiness\, access to healthcare\, and fair redistricting.)\, Lauren Harmon (Lauren is the Voting & Democracy Campaigns Director at the Center for American Progress)\, keynote: Michael Signer (Mayor of the City of Charlottesville\, VA\, author of "Demagogue" and "Becoming Madison." A book-signing will be held on the plaza during the social hour). \n\n\n\nSocial Hour: 5:30-6:30 PM with live music provided by The Ambrose Dilemma.\n\n\n\nDinner: begins at 6:30 PM and catered by Main Street Bakery and Catering.
