SUMMARY:Business Seminar - AI Foundations
DESCRIPTION:Join the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce for AI Academy for Small Business\, a new professional development series designed to help Chamber members understand and confidently use artificial intelligence in their businesses. Janet Michael with Java Media will lead the series\, sharing practical guidance\, demonstrations\, and real-world examples to make AI approachable and useful for small businesses. The series kicks off with Session 1: AI Foundations on Tuesday\, September 15 from 3:00-4:00 PM. This free\, one-hour\, in-person session will explore what AI is (and isn't)\, how to choose the right AI tools\, practical everyday business uses\, privacy considerations\, and best practices. Participants will discover simple ways AI can help save time\, improve productivity\, and support their day-to-day operations\, and will leave with a homework challenge to put what they've learned into practice. Those who would like additional hands-on guidance can register for the optional\, paid Implementation Lab on Tuesday\, September 29 at 3:00 PM. This 90-minute virtual coaching session will focus on putting AI to work in your own business\, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions\, receive personalized guidance\, and apply the tools and strategies introduced during AI Foundations. The September 15 educational session is free and open to Luray-Page County Chamber members. Please RSVP by Monday\, September 14th
