"Celebrating Wilderness through Art" will provide a special opportunity to join two local artists to learn fun and easy nature writing and drawing exercises that will help preserve your own nature and wilderness experiences. The seminar will feature the Wilderness resources found in Shenandoah National Park. \n\n \n\nThe "Celebrating Wilderness through Art" seminar is free with your paid park entrance fee\, however\, space is limited to 25 participants\, ages 12 and up. Pre-registration is required. Art supplies and writing materials will be provided and no previous art or nature writing experience is necessary. Some hiking will be involved. Shenandoah National Park has nearly 80\,000 acres of designated wilderness\, one of the largest Wilderness areas in the eastern United States\, and is only 90 miles from Washington\, DC!
