DESCRIPTION:The Children of Shenandoah will be holding our annual Homecoming for descendants of the Blue Ridge Mountains on Saturday\, September 15th\, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Page Blue Ridge Heritage Project Monument. Ideally set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Ed Good Memorial Park\, 332 E. Main St\, Stanley\, VA 22851. \n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to the Page Blue Ridge Heritage Project\, Blue Ridge Heritage Project\, the Town of Stanley and Page County for the use and creation of this wonderful site. \n\n\n\nPlease bring a covered dish\, something to drink\, old photos and stories\, along with your own lawn chair or blanket for seating. The public is invited\, feel free to invite and share with your family and other descendants. \n\n\n\nPlease watch this page for updates as information develops. Currently we are looking for craft and music demonstrations to spotlight our mountain heritage and culture. \n\n\n\nThe Children of Shenandoah is dedicated to the preservation of the heritage and culture of the people who once lived in what is now Shenandoah National Park.
