DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Lunch N Learn: Accessing Capital for Start-Ups and Small Businesses on Wednesday\, June 24th from 11:30 AM 1:00 PM in the Chamber Board Room at 18 Campbell Street in Luray. We are excited to welcome Leslie Currle with People Inc. Financial Services as our guest speaker for this informative session geared toward start-ups and small business owners. This event is part of a new quarterly series being launched in Page County called Capital Readiness for Small Businesses\, designed to strengthen local businesses and expand access to capital. Attendees will gain valuable insight into how lenders evaluate loan requests\, why applications may be declined\, and what steps can be taken to become loan-ready. Participants will also learn how to better understand their business finances\, clarify growth goals\, and explore ways to use capital strategically even if funding isn't needed today. This supportive\, interactive session is open to businesses at any stage and will be offered as a 90-minute lunch and learn with a hybrid option available. Future sessions in the series will also be held at the Chamber on September 23 and December 16. In addition\, People Inc. has secured dedicated loan funding for qualified small businesses located in Page County. Participation in the training series is not required to apply for funding\, but these sessions are designed to help business owners feel confident and prepared when exploring financing options.
