17th Annual Apple Butter Celebration

Come to Skyland as the staff sets up the copper kettles and stokes up the fire for a day of apple boiling. Watch the process, give the kettle a stir, try a delicious sample, and take home some fresh-from-the-kettle jars of apple butter!

Our chefs will be creating a great menu of items such as BBQ Pork Sandwich with Apple Cider BBQ Sauce, Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Bacon Apple BBQ Sauce, Granny Apple Cole Slaw, Scalloped Apples, Apple Cobbler, Apple Strudel, Gala Apple Wedges with a Warm Caramel Sauce, and Cold and Hot Spiced Apple Cider. 

Wine and hard cider tasting, pony rides, children’s crafts, and live entertainment are also featured throughout the day!
