Apple Butter Celebration

Apple Butter Celebration is an annual event at Skyland each September where you can watch the apple boiling process, give the copper kettle a stir, try a delicious sample, and take home some fresh-from-the-kettle jars of apple butter! 

Skyland chefs create special apple-infused dishes, and combine it with a full day of wine and Old Hill Cider tasting, live entertainment, pony rides, and children's crafts to make it a fun day for the entire family! 

Held on the historic lower level area at Skyland, mile 41.7 & 42.5 on Skyline Drive. 

Free admission to all park visitors.
