Dedication Second TRACK Trails Activity Trail - Shenandoah National Park

Shenandoah National Park has partnered with the Kids in the Park program to establish a second TRACK Trails location.   This trail is located at the Blackrock Summit trail.   The public is invited to attend an opening ceremony on Friday, May 29 at 11:45 a.m.    The trail dedication will  take place at the Blackrock Summit parking area at milepost 84.8.

The Kids in the Park program grew out of a vision to address these trends by getting kids "unplugged" and physically active in parks for their health and the health of our parks.     Each TRACK Trail features self-guided brochures and signs that turn your visit into a fun and exciting outdoor experience.
