Free Lunch & Learn Lecture about the Court Street Oak Tree
Please bring your lunch – Luray Garden Club hosts will provide drinks and dessert -- and spend your lunch hour with Luray Garden Club members to learn about this historic tree from Chris Anderson, Executive Director of the White House Foundation and a Virginia Master Naturalist. Chris has worked in the conservation field for 25 years and has always been fascinated with ecology. She writes the nature blog for the Old Rag Master Naturalist webpage, as well as the Tree of the Month feature for White House Natives. Chris grows two organic gardens, and has found that one of the best ways to share nature and inspire its protection is through her writing and photography. The Luray Garden Cub is thrilled to have her as our guest speaker.
