Heritage Festival
Now in its 49th year, the Page County Heritage Festival is a family-oriented weekend with fun for the whole family! Come enjoy the weekend in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley during the peak fall foliage season. The Heritage Festival boasts over a hundred crafters with all-day demonstrations of spinning, crochet, apple-butter boiling, oil painting, basket making, wheel thrown pottery, blacksmiths, and more!
And what Fall Festival would be complete without good home-cooking provided by local civic organizations? While at the Page County Heritage Festival, you will be surrounded by the smells of BBQ chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, brown beans and cornbread, country ham, chicken & dumplings, funnel cakes and a host of other treats!
The Heritage Festival also hosts a variety of live entertainment -- all of which is indoors with plenty of seating available! And let's not forget about the kids! Children can enjoy face-painting, a pedal tractor pull, hay maze, barrel train ride and pony rides!
For tractor and engine enthusiasts, the Page County Heritage Festival's Steam & Gas Engine Show will be a one-of-a-kind treat for you! Watch log sawing, feed grinding and corn chopping all powered by steam and antique tractors. Also, enjoy the numerous small antique engines, antique automobiles and tractors on display -- all in running condition.
