Longest Night Service

Is it difficult to think about celebrating Christmas this year? December 21st marks the longest night of the year, with more hours of darkness than daylight. Yet even in the midst of grief, loneliness, sorrow, or whatever "darkness" we may be experiencing, God is present. Come to a Longest Night Service on December 21, 7:00pm, at Big Spring Mennonite Church, 2545 Mims Road, Luray, VA 22835. The service features gentle music, readings, time for quiet reflection, and a candle lighting in memory of loved ones or as a sign of hope.
