Call Ups will be based on the most recent VACX standings, recognizing the top 8 riders in the VACX series, after which we will fill it out up front with some of the top riders in MABRA using a complex algorithm taking into account the “Super 8” series, the “Sportif” series, and the promoter’s personal biases. Only pre-registered riders will be considered.

Registration: Register online at www.bikereg.com. Online registration closes on Wednesday prior to race day. Day-of registration and sign-in opens at 8:00AM and closes 30 minutes prior to each race, and all non-junior and beginner categories will be subject to $10 late fee. Riders without a valid USAC license must purchase a one-day license sold at registration and are eligible to compete in any event open to Category 4 racers.

Course: Located next to the Luray Valley Museum across from Luray Caverns, our course includes grass, gravel, sand (depending on weather conditions), hardpack and soft soil, and various barriers forcing the rider to dismount his/her bike.  It will NOT include the paved road going up to the finish and will be bypassing the historic village area.

Pre-Riding and Warming Up: The course will be open for pre-riding at 7:30AM to 9:15AM, and between races as time allows. There’s also an approximately 45 minute window at around 10:45 AM.

Directions: From Washington, DC: I-66 West to Gainesville; US 29 South to Warrenton; US 211 West to Luray Caverns. GPS Address: 101 Cave Hill Road, Luray, VA 22835. Please DO NOT park in the Luray Caverns Visitor Lot, but rather following the signs for parking in the gravel area near the beer garden and registration.

RACE HELD RAIN, SNOW, OR SHINE, ALTHOUGH THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL FOR EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS WHICH MAY BE A SAFETY HAZARD. BRING THE FAMILY FOR A DAY OF FUN IN LURAY – KIDS 12 AND UNDER ENTER THE CAVERNS FOR FREE (Limit 2 kids per racer)!

Bring your friends to enjoy our beer garden, serving PALE FIRE craft beer, made right here in the Shenandoah Valley!  Proceeds will benefit our charities, so its good beer for a good cause! Remember to drink responsibly!
