Massanutten School Tours

The one-room schoolhouse, next to the Page Public Library (100 Zerkel Street, Luray), will be open on Mondays after the Children's Story Hour at the library. 


Massanutten School (opposite Inn Lawn Park in Luray, VA): The school was in use from 1875-1937. The restored one-room was moved from its original site in 1972 and restored and furnished through citizens' donations. Inside are 16 original double desks; a 100 year old cast-iron stove; a handmade teacher's desk and chair; a flag pole used during the Civil War; an 1880 school house bell; and numerous photos and displays.
