Master Financial Education Volunteer Training
Virginia Cooperative Extension is seeking volunteers, interested in helping families learn skills to manage finances more effectively.
Master Financial Education Volunteers receive a minimum of 20 hours of classroom instruction and, in return, commit to contribute an additional 40 hours of service to the in the 12 months following the training.
The summer Financial education training, begins Wednesday, May 31, from 6 to 9 pm, in Luray, and will run for 9 consecutive Wenesdays.
Upon completion, volunteers can then lead classes, work with small groups, or individuals, and can serve in other roles, including program management, data entry, youth financial education, and more, and will look great on any resume!
