Palm Sunday

Episcopal Palm Sunday Services with Rite II Holy Eucharist: at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.*

*The traditional Palm Sunday rite of Blessing of the Palms will be held in the church during the 8 am service; and in the Parish Hall at 10:45 am with a festive procession into the church sanctuary for the start of the 11 am service of worship.


Christ Church also participates in the Luray Ecumenical Palm Sunday Service held each year at 10:30 a.m.; members of Christ Church gather in the church’s Parish Hall at 10:15 am and process down to the Inn Lawn Park Gazebo joining with other Luray Churches for a short service of Ecumenical Palm Sunday Prayers and Hymns. At the conclusion of this short service, each congregation returns to their respective house of worship for worship.
