Peer Recovery Specialist Training
What is a Peer Recovery Specialist?
A Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) uses his/her specialized training and lived experience, with mental health and/or substance use conditions, to assist others in discovering their own path to recovery.
This Training Course:
- is for those wanting to utilize their own journeys and experiences, with mental health and/or substance abuse, in order to aid others in their recovery.
- will result in a certificate of completion.
- requires ten (10) days of classroom training.
- offers a certification for a growing field.
