Sip & Create: White Oak Basket Making
Local basket artisan, Clyde Jenkins, returns to share his talent of basket making at the Warehouse Art Gallery. Clyde teaches participants how to make a white-oak basket with techniques handed down through the generations. Structured from beginner to intermediate, but experienced basket makers are welcomed. Participants are expected to bring their own straight blade knife and leather piece. Space is limited to 20 people, so contact events@luraypage.com to pay and reserve your space ASAP, the last day to reserve your spot is Wednesday, March 15th.
