Solar Eclipse Event
The Town of Stanley will be hosting a Solar Eclipse Event at the Hawksbill Recreation Park on Monday, August 21st located on Pool Drive. The Town invites everyone to watch the solar eclipse from the Hawksbill Swimming Pool and the first twenty-five swimmers entering the pool for the day will receive a free pair of solar approved glasses. Others will be for sale at $2.00 each. Also all swimmers in the pool during the eclipse, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. will receive a free drink and slice of pizza.
