The Great Vigil of Easter

This service begins with the congregation outside the church at 8 p.m. as darkness falls and a new fire is created and then carried into the church in a procession led by a cantor. This year the congregations of Christ Episcopal Church, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and Stony Man Lutheran Church will all join together at Christ Episcopal Church for this most special service welcoming in Easter.
