Tommy Tucker Showalter's WWII Story
94-year old World War II veteran PFC. Tommy Tucker Showalter will share the story of his journey from a farm in the Shenandoah Valley to serve as an infantryman in Patton’s Third Army. The recipient of a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, Mr. Showalter is a natural storyteller, and his stories are fascinating for both children and adults.
