Youth Acting Workshop

Have a budding young actor in your family? Trackside Theater's Youth Acting Workshop will begin on October 3 and run through December 12 (with breaks for Halloween and Thanksgiving). The Workshop will meet on Tuesday evenings from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. to learn all of the basics from one of our veteran performers. Children 8 to 12 will participate in scene studies and monologues and learn diction, volume, movement, as well as focus on stage production. Has your child already been involved in a few plays? This is a perfect opportunity for them to brush up on their skills and learn new ones. The class will culminate in a performance for family members on December 12. The class will be led by Luray's Neska Laflamme, who has more than 60 years' theater experience teaching, directing and working with kids.
