A Little Luray Business with an International Reach

I’m excited to share a professional milestone that means a great deal to me — and one that I’m especially proud to share here at home.

I recently became a Chartered Architect with the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS), adding to my existing status as a RIBA Chartered Architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects and my registration as an architect in the United Kingdom.

What makes this particularly meaningful to me is where all of this is happening from.

Rich Hostelley Architectural Studio (RH+ARCH studio) is a small architectural practice based right here in our community. While much of our work has been throughout Virginia and the United States, over the past few years I’ve been working to expand our professional relationships and involvement within the UK architectural community.

Becoming part of both RIAS and RIBA is another step in that journey.

I think there’s something pretty special about building a small business in a small town while having the opportunity to participate in a profession that reaches far beyond it.

Small town. Small business. International reach.

And wherever the work may take us, I’m proud that Luray & Stanley, Virginia is home.
