Annual Jefferson/Jackson Dinner
The annual Jefferson/Jackson Dinner hosted by the Page County Democratic Committee will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016. The event will be held at the Performing Arts Luray Center.
Special Announcements from Doris Crouse-Mays, President of Virginia AFL-CIO.
Speakers include: Michael Hamlar (candidate for the VA State Senate in 2015, Mike has established the Step-Up Virginia PAC to advocate for education workforce readiness, access to healthcare, and fair redistricting.), Lauren Harmon (Lauren is the Voting & Democracy Campaigns Director at the Center for American Progress), keynote: Michael Signer (Mayor of the City of Charlottesville, VA, author of "Demagogue" and "Becoming Madison." A book-signing will be held on the plaza during the social hour).
Social Hour: 5:30-6:30 PM with live music provided by The Ambrose Dilemma.
Dinner: begins at 6:30 PM and catered by Main Street Bakery and Catering. Entree: Chicken Provencal over Roman Gnocchi (vegetarian option available).
